About time I see 2 of the Township supervisors are making a serious effort to rein in improper practices that cost the taxpayers money. Good for them.
the elected position in a county is and has always been Township Supervisor. The pay is based on the population and type of township. Once they are elected on their first day in office they vote each other in as "road masters" and they On Top of THeir Pay As Township Supervisors they get an hourly rate and benefits. some townships have all 3 supervisors as road masters while other townships are mindful of taxpayer money. Ask a news paper to do a story on ALL the townships in Fayette County and who votes themselves in a road masters and who has not along with their pay.
