NY Times reports nothing new in the 800 pages on Hillary just released. 1) they read quick. and 2) She is still a thief and a un-indicted felon and liar. So nothing new there. 3) Their spin department is almost as good as the Herald Standard

She is definitely the most qualified the most sensible the most determined lots of class and she stops at nothing to help the people of this country just like Bill Clinton did her husband when he was president for eight years we can't go wrong so vote for Hillary Clinton on election day she's definitely the right choice it's a no-brainer you vote for Trump you'll definitely be sorry he won't deliver he tells you what you want to hear I bet he won't come to Fayette County he thinks he's too good to come here but Hillary isn't she's been here before many years ago and she's coming back that's who we need to vote for who we can truly count on she's a true leader we are going to vote for her she's definitely the right choice

Sun, Apr 17, 2016 - 08:21 AMCO's conflicting testimo
Reported in newspapers. Jurors hear testimony of over 30 witnesses. Jurors call for federal investigation into county jail operations.
Kristy Richards, who testified that she was fired about two months after the Scott incident for having cigarettes in the prison, said she started work at 11:30 Sept. 5 2015 and was almost immediately stopped on her rounds by Scott, who said she was in pain. Richards said she called Lt. Joe Barnes, who told her there was nothing he could do.“He said she had just been to Uniontown Hospital and that she was faking,” Richards said. Richards said she also spoke to him in person during her break around 2 a.m. “If that lieutenant had done his job and come up at 11:30 and checked on that girl and called the medics, she’d still be alive,” Richards said.
Richards said she wrote two statements about what happened that night, one that detailed the entire night and another that only dealt with incidents in the early morning when the medical staff came back on duty. She said the first report was rejected by her supervisor, who told her to write the second one. Richards said she eventually turned the longer report over to the county’s Human Resources office.
When it was suggested by attorney John Ninosky who was representing Primecare, the health provider at the prison, that Richards had an axe to grind, Richards was vehement that she was telling the truth.“You can hook me up to a lie detector. I have nothing to lie about. They took my career away; what more can they take away? I have nothing to hide,” Richards said. “When you listen to someone scream and moan and die, you remember that night.”
The death occurred 2015. The inquest was last week
Warden Miller said at the April 14 2016, inquest, “Until today, I didn’t learn there was a problem with them not calling (911) from the infirmary,” Warden Miller said during Thursday’s testimony. Warden Miller also testified that there is an automatic external defibrillator (AED) in the medical area, though the nurse on duty had testified that it was in the administrative area. “I don’t see a need for my officers to know in-depth an inmate’s medical charts,” Miller said, going on to say he saw nothing to improve.
County solicitor weighs in.“I didn’t hear anything that indicated to me there were any civil rights violations,” said John Cupp, solicitor for Fayette County. “She came to the jail. She gave inconsistent information about her medical problems. ...After the nurse became aware this woman was in distress, they did everything they could to keep this woman alive.”

Sun, Apr 10, 2016 - 08:22 AMherald Sub Double standard
this is not the first time the Herald SUB-standard messed up. It is becoming a habit. Not only do they report wrong days for community parades, leave out names of honor students, attribute quotes to the wrong people but they often have MISSPELLINGS IN HEADLINES
this is the area's newspaper of largest circulation
so what is the problem?
5. spell check not working/
6.copy editor, managing page editor? managing editor, publisher all asleep on the job?
7. how many years of experience do they have doing this very simple task of hitting a spell check key on the computer?
how many people are responsible for such a simple task?
should subscribers expect more from them?
should Fayette Countians expect more from them?
how will this affect Fayette's population and job growth?
do businesses want to come to Fayette County knowing the largest newspaper cannot hit a spell check key?
how many times does Fayette County need to be embarassed?
should heads roll at the herald standard on Monday?
will anyone be held accountable?
Sad state of affairs at the herald SUBstandard
Fri, Apr 08, 2016 - 02:51 AMbackground checks of hs

The problem with the herald standard they let these losers write what-ever they want about other people they are Ambrosini's puppets and basically do as their told !
Fri, Apr 01, 2016 - 07:26 AMlost journalism
that newspaper is the vehicle that keeps Fayette County down and looking bad to outsiders.
no wonder businesses do not come here no wonder people move out
the paper is very biased. Read the articles very slanted and more than half of the articles are incorrect.
their opinion columnist are for the most part very liberal. their own editorial page editor mark okeefe clearly shows his biased in his own columns. He also is the writer of the editorial board but gets the blessing of the entire editorial board before it goes to print.
they stir up controversy for the sake of selling newspapers. hoping to sell newspapers. many say if it wasn't to learn of obituaries they would not buy the paper. they should all tune into wmbs to listen to the list of obits and save their money. The newspaper goes too far in trying to incite problems. they go beyond reporting the news. they've lost whatever ounce of journalism they once had years ago
