Has anyone heard of Perryopolis being called Washington's Bottom. Seems that George Washington claimed to own the land. Sounds like a good Story. He supposedly came to collect rent in the year 1784.

I am trying to find any relations of my fathers side of the family. We dont know much & would like to know & get in touch with them. My fathers name was Ralph Sumner Kern & his father was Clarence Edgar Kern his first wife was Jean Neal Hughes Kern they had 4 children Thomas Henry Jane & my father .He remarried & had another daughter named Gloria Rae....If anyone out there has any info plase let me know thank you
