I wish I had a nickel for everytime I jumped off that bridge and its cables, and I would love to have a dime for everytime we climbed up that wall and was chased off the lawn by the family dog. That ole boy came out of nowhere, he/she could out right fly off that porch, does anyone have a photo of the old swinging bridge? Unique IP Code: 56e726d061500bd

What
about the conditions of some of the roads in the borough??? Murphy Avenue and Vine Street are solid sheets of ice. Cars are sliding all over them and God forbid should you try and stop at the Stop signs on these streets. You slide right through them.

That this issue of leaving inactive voters / ineligible voters on the Voters Registration roll indicates that A bad list can cover up any sort of fraud that could be going on," said Kimball Brace, president of Election DataServices, which advises election supervisors nationwide. His group assembled the data used in the Scripps Howard study. "And a bad list can be indicative of sloppy procedures." The quality of America's voter rolls is deteriorating. Easier sign-up provisions under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 and overworked or incompetent election supervisors have contributed to often grossly inaccurate lists sent to the local polling places to determine who should vote. Curtis Gans, director of the Washington, D.C.-based Committee for the Study of the American Electorate. "The problem is real and could pose a danger in that people can vote in the names of those who have died or moved away. We must create a better standard for cleaning the lists." In Fayette County Pa. in August 2008 a Federal Election year the Fayette County Pa. Board of Elections decided to delay the purger of 25000 inactive / ineligible voters of a supposely five year purge so this means these voters were accumalated over a five year period . Now I was initially was the denied but I filed a request on Tuesday December 8, 09 in the PA. Supreme Court for a reconsideration of this denial . Now if they deny my request as I expect I will in the U.S. Supreme ourt which I have ninety days to do so . I have had conversations with certain high profile people which they really believe that since every state has the identical law as Pa. and the American voting act also prescribe the procedures to remove these type of voters within ninety days of an Federal Election which was not complied with that that the U.S. Supreme will docket the case as a case of first instance and of public importance . This Court's ruling will be retroactive and could very possibly include the Federal General November 08 Election . I expected at all times to be denied throughout the state Court system simply because politics plays a major role . I had to exhaust all of my state remidies before going to the U. S. Supreme Court . I knew I would had to go there . By the way I will be the very first layman in the history of the U.S. Su8preme Court to ever argue in front of the Justices . BOY !! What madia exposure this will get , "WORLDWIDE" And it will be out of "FAYETTE COUNTY PA. " !!!!

My dad is Ed. We were going through some pictures and came across so many of the bridge, river, house, etc... My husband and I were at the river about 2 mos. ago, and it's surprising how many people don't even know that there used to be a house over there!!

There's the Bare A$$ Beach up north of the old Back Creek Lumber, too. Haven't been there in over 30 years. We had a rope we would swing in to the creek. Simpler times back then.

Just remember if you pack it then in pack it out...a recent problem at the beach has been youth's leaving garbage behind. Mainly beer can's. This is simply ignorance. Conservation and preservation is key to ensure the usage of the beach for generations to come. Beer can's are always lighter to carry on the way out

My dad grew up on the other side of the swinging bridge. My grandfather used to supervise the water plant there. The house was demolished(burned) after my grandfather died and my grandmother moved into town. We spent many good times there and my family still tries to go to Turtle Rock when we can. How I wish I could go across to the yard and sit on the back porch swing again. What a peaceful place.

News Alert !!!
Gary Brownfielld did experienced a heated campaign that included both him and his family . This campaign effected both his image , reputation and will for years to come . The man might have failen off the edge to the point that he can not no longer deal with the stigma that he now possesses . Gary Brownfield does not appear to be himself , he appears to be very distraught and pre occupied . Although I am not a Psychologist nor a Psychiatrist I would venture an educated guess he is about to break . He does have a lot of stress , I see him occassionally in the Courthouse while at work !!!!

They completed the brake job on the rear before one pm on Sunday My wife and I took the truck which we traveled all over God’s creation until 4pm Sunday when we returned home . Then at 6pm we traveled to Westmoreland County Fair which we left at 8:30pm traveled to Bud Murphy’s Lounge in Connellsville , Pa. which we left there at 10:50 pm to go to Wal Mart Where we were there for 30 minnutes . At this time we traveled toward Fairchance at which time we heard a thumbing noise which I then traveled to my son’s residence where Mr. Lane inspected the rear wheels of my truck found the lugs and studs almost completely chewed off .
